If you don't ________ you don't get dessert!

These are a great incentive to get your kids/husband to eat their dinner, or do anything really. Decide what horrible task needs to be done and then pull these out of the oven. Consider the task done! Got your task in mind? Great... now click on this link to go to "The Pioneer Woman Cooks" blog and get her recipe for cinnamon rolls. OK, I totally LOVE "The Pioneer Woman Cooks" blog. Remember the Marlboro man sandwich and the French Breakfast Puffs? Yesterday I decided to make her cinnamon rolls and they were so easy and soooooo delicious. Big mistake was starting them at 2pm though. By the time we made the dough and let it rise and the kids came home from school etc. it was rather caotic. But... we did get them made. It does make 7 pie pans, so decide ahead of time who you are going to give them to, or consider yourself 10 pounds heavier.

While my presentation is less than perfect, they are perfectly delicious.

They look delicious! I'll have to try them. I do have to admit something...I have never cooked with yeast. I've always just found the easier recipe and thought perfecting the yeast would be too hard. I haven't looked at the recipe for these yet so I don't know if it calls for yeast but they look so good that I'll try them even if it does call for it.

I am going to have to agree, these are about as good as cinnamon rolls get. no joke.

I too am a yeastaphobe. It seems everytime I make something with yeast it doesn't rise well enough. The addition of yeast in these is super easy... even a yeastaphobe can do it.

Those look so good! So do the Apple Dumplings she had on there the other day. They had my mouth watering, and I usually don't even like apple pie type desserts.

I have actually NEVER made anything with yeast, either!! And I've been married for 10 years.

I just added a bit more milk to get the right consistency, and bit more maple flavoring.
You'll love them!
