What is better than a beautiful fall day?

PLAYING IN THE LEAVES on a beautiful fall day!

And throwing leaves at your mom! This is the PERFECT time of year to get out and enjoy the weather!

Pumpkin Palooza

We joined some other families in the ward for a Pumpkin Palooza ... although the violence was a little disturbing. There were knives

and guts
and crazy looking people hacking away...
and tattooing
Who says Family Home Evening can't be fun??

Hot Dogs

Saturday afternoon (while Brad and Samantha were on a youth temple trip) I took the other 3, and the dog to the Pet Expo. The hilight was the dog show. This guy and his 8 dogs have many accolades including Animal Planet.
It was a really entertaining show and for the $4 it cost for all of us... and the dog to get in to the expo counts as a good deal to me.

Star went a little nuts wanting to play with all the other dogs that were there, but I think she enjoyed it too.

Strike Up The Band

Friday night we were back at the Lava Bears football game. This time we were there to check out the up and coming members of the High School band. It was a BEAUTIFUL night in the high 60's - a perfect night for a football game and a great rallying by the new band members.
