Flash Back Friday- 1986 "That Lovin' Feelin'"

In 1986 my walls were filled with ragged edged pages torn out of Tiger Beat and Teen magazine of my favorite actors (since I couldn't just print them off the internet like my kids do). I know I had one if not more pictures of Tom Cruise papering my walls. Over the years I seem to have "lost that lovin' feelin'" for Tom (although I do enjoy his running scenes :D) He's just gotten a little too weird (have you seen the most recent Youtube scientology film?)
So to rekindle the old flame I once had I share this flashback with you from better days:

Star is the most patient dog EVER! Abby loves to sit in Star's bed, and loves to lay on her. Star never complains.

Muddy footprints - Hurray?

After swiffing, and swiffing, and swiffing all my hardwood floors yesterday, by 9pm last night I was left with this mess!

And I couldn't be more thrilled!! Last night we had an Enrichment meeting (Quick and Easy Meals) at my house and 21 ladies showed up. It was so great!! We had about 8 people bring sample dishes, and then dished out samples in dixie cups, Costco style. Really yummy!

I am so happy to have my new house that can hold a group of people, muddy footprints and all!

To Do II

Abby liked Ethan's list so much she decided to make a list of her own yesterday. Lots of eating, and the last one is wrestling (in case you couldn't read it). Please forgive the sticky bun smears on the paper, but I guess that's what happens when you've got so much eating "to do".

So many things to do when you are a 6 year old boy! Ethan made up this list to keep him on track Saturday. Surprisingly he accomplished all but 2 (play in the snow and walk the dog). What's on your "To Do List" today?
