Sorry for the lack of photos, but Brad didn't upload the software on the laptop for the camera, and we don't have a card reader for it either. Any way...
I will be brief as it is late and I will share more when I have pics to share.
Last minute we decided to leave Friday night for a variety or reasons. We made it as far as Sacramento and arrived at Huntington Beach around 5pm on Saturday. We were able to meet up with Benji and Shawna and family to play on the beach for awhile and go out to dinner.
Sunday we went down to Newport and walked around and spent the afternoon back at Huntington beach.
Monday we settled into our new place, said goodbye to Benji and Shawna and family and spent the afternoon at Santa Monica pier.
Tuesday (today) we made it to Disney around 9:30 and stayed 'til 9. The weather was absolutely perfect! 72 degrees! While there are still a lot of people here, we haven't had to wait in line long. With the fast passes it is so easy to avoid the lines! All day I kept telling the kids that they are so spoiled!! I remember waiting literally hours to get into Star Tours (back in '85 when it was the newest attraction), and waiting in countless lines all day!
There are many stories to tell of today's adventures, but I just wanted you to know that fun was had by all and by the time everyone was done with supper at the hotel around 9:30, they were all dropping like flies!
I am the lone survivor of the days events.
Tomorrow we are going to tackle California Adventure.

Glad you guys had fun today!
It was sure fun seeing you before we came back home...Theron is still letting me know how much he misses you guys.
I'm excited to see all your pictures!
Wow, sounds great. Leaving friday, was leaving late wasn't it? And how torturous can you be waiting until Tuesday to go to Disney?!? Isn't it really such a happy place? I can't wait to see pictures.
sounds like you guys are having a great time! can't wait to hear all about the adventures and see the pictures!
We really like CA Adventure. You HAVE to go to the Aladdin show in the Hyperion Theater at the end of Hollywood Backlot. It's amazing. It's about a 40 minute show, and you feel like you're at a Broadway musical. What else...We LOVE the Bug's Life area. It's geared toward little kids, but it's so fun, especially if you like the movie. Your littler ones might like the Playhouse Disney show. OH--and you HAVE to let your kids play in the Redwood Creek area!!! It's right across from the Grizzly River Run ride. We always schedule lots of time to play there. It's nice that you have 5-day passes so you have time for things like that! If you didn't get to experience all of the above today, GO BACK!
I'm glad you guys know how to use the fast passes. Some people have no idea and end up waiting in long lines. Have you done the Buzz Lightyear ride yet? We go on it over and over again. I think Jeromy likes it more than the kids. At the end of the ride, you can have pictures from the ride e-mailed to you for free, and Jeromy always has his video game expression on his face.
We also do a character breakfast every time we go. Goofy's kitchen is fun and has lots of yummy and kid-themed food, like PB&J pizza, cupcakes, and chicken nuggets, plus lots of good stuff for adults, like made-to-order omelets. Pricey, but worth the splurge, even on our resident's salary!
James is bugging me to make play-dough with him, but if I think of anything else, I'll let you know, whether you want to know or not!
Cool! My favorite ride is at California Adventure -- Soarin' Over California! Can't wait for the pics. Did Brad get the guts to ask for a stroller pass?
Oh Tracey, did you know you can let Windows quickly upload photos for you instead of the Canon software? It's pretty quicky--you can always go back and photoshop fix what you need to later.
Can't wait for the pictures. Wish I could be there with you.
I've never been to any of the adventure parks, but I've heard all the tales about the lines. Those and motion sickness have pretty much made me avoid them at all cost. The family wants to go though so I'm glad to hear there is possible reprieve from at least one of my grievences. Glad you guys had such a nice time:)
